Who we are
poonersystes.com is a small, independent editorial site about one hotel. Its editors set the purposes for the modest personal details covered below, and you can reach them at hello@poonersystes.com.
Reading is anonymous
Nothing on the site requires an account, a subscription or a login. We have chosen not to install analytics, session recording or audience measurement tools of any kind.
Messages you send
Whenever an email reaches us, typed freely or drafted via the contact form, whatever you chose to write arrives with it, which in practice means who you are, where to answer and what you asked. We use it to understand what you are asking and to answer, and for nothing else.
Hosting logs
The company that hosts the site may note technical facts about each visit on its own: your IP address, browser, the address loaded and when. Such logs serve security and fault-finding only, get purged after a brief interval, and we never use them to single anyone out.
Browser storage
One local storage value notes your answer to the small storage panel. Our Cookie Policy describes it in full.
What we never do
- No ad pixels, social widgets or tracking scripts are loaded.
- poonersystes keeps no reader dossiers and lets no algorithm judge visitors.
- We hand personal details to no buyer, renter or partner.
Other services
Typefaces are delivered by Google Fonts, so Google receives your IP address when a page is opened. Once you follow the link to the hotel's website, its own privacy notice applies.
Legal basis and retention
We process messages under legitimate interest, since replying is the whole point of them. Threads stay in the mailbox while still active, and a year after the closing reply they are erased.
Your rights
Data law where you live may allow you to obtain a copy of what we keep about you, fix or wipe it, limit or oppose how it is used, and complain to your regulator. Send the request by email; we answer inside the statutory window.
Minors
poonersystes addresses grown-up readers, 18 or older. If a younger person contacts us, we delete the message once we realise, and we never knowingly gather information about children.
Revisions
Changes to how we work will be reflected here, together with a new effective date at the top of the page.
